Welcome back to a White Mughals Kitchen! This is a new blog I have started in Feb 2012 after struggling on and off last year with another host site. Hopefully this will be more manageable and I can post more frequently.
This site will contain recollections, travel notes and recipes from my time living here in Hyderabad and visiting other parts of India and overseas during the year with my family.

About Me
After working in the Australian television broadcasting industry for the past 25 years, I moved to Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh, a southen central state of India, in Oct 2007 with my family. For the next two years I worked as a trainer and communciations specialist with the Satyam School of Leadership at what is now known as Mahindra Satyam.
In Dec 2009 I resigned from this company and began a new career as a freelance media & communications consultant. In my other life I pursue an avid interest in cooking, researching recipes from different cultures and cuisines and collecting classic and vintage cookbooks from around the world. I'm also interested in newspapers, world politics, the environment, contemporary literature and photography.
When not at work or in the kitchen I spend time with my wife - Juhee and two children - Taj & Zia; we like to travel to different parts of India and other parts of Asia as often as we can. Whether travelling on the road or at home here in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad food and cooking play a very important part in our lives.
